Welcome to 967 Meadow Road, Casco, Maine – a cozy, lakefront two-family home offering private bedrooms for active adults (55+) who want companionship, low-maintenance living, and stunning lakefront views with direct access to the water. Our bottom unit consists of 3 private bedrooms, with shared common areas (kitchen, living room, bathrooms, patio, dock on Pleasant Lake, and more), perfect for active seniors seeking community without the high costs of traditional rentals or other living situations that can be lonesome and disengaging.  

Being located in Casco Village and on Pleasant Lake, opportunities are plentiful to enjoy all that the village has to offer, including a library, community center, church, gym, and convenience store.  The lake provides opportunities to swim, boat, kayak, fish, and a public beach next door.  

How does co-living with us work? Our house consists of two apartments, one upstairs and another downstairs.  By renting the downstairs unit by the bedroom, we are able to provide a housing opportunity for those who are still active and independent, but no longer want to worry about utility bills, property taxes, living alone, repairs, yard-work, and so much more.  Common areas are shared by all occupants. 

Included in the monthly rental price is a 1x/week general cleaning of the common areas.

• #1 – 1 Bedroom
  Rent:  $1,400 - 1 person,  $1900 - 2 people , utilities are included
  Occupancy: 1-2 people
  Features: Spacious private bedroom, lakefront and beautiful water views, shared downstairs kitchen, living room, bathroom(s), and waterfront patio.
  Ideal For: Single individuals or couples/close companions seeking a private retreat with scenic charm.

• #2 – 1 Bedroom
  Rent:  $1,400 - 1 person,  $1900 - 2 people , utilities are included in price
  Occupancy: 1-2 people
  Features: Roomy private bedroom, shared access to downstairs common areas and patio.
  Ideal For: Singles or pairs wanting space and easy ground-floor access.

• #3 – 1 Bedroom
  Rent:  $1,400 - 1 person, utilities are included in price
  Occupancy: 1 person
  Features: Cozy private bedroom, shared access to downstairs common areas and patio.
  Ideal For: Seniors on fixed incomes seeking affordability and a ground floor unit.

The idea to try this housing model arose from our experience in the senior living industry and knowing the opportunities that exist in unique and niche housing models.  We believe that active adults can not only succeed, but thrive in conditions that support their overall well-being.
